Royal Doulton WILD ROSE BOWL - D6227 - Hand Decorated Console Bowl - Decorative English Ceramic Bowl with Scalloped Edge - 12 inch Diameter

Wonderful Royal Doulton pottery bowl in the "Wild Rose" pattern produced between 1927 and 1951.
This line was designed for decorative use. Features a scalloped edge.
Entirely hand-decorated with a variety of glaze colours - each piece is unique.
Dark blue background mottled with gold is accented with wild rose blossoms in apricot and yellow and deep red. Dark leaves have bright green tips.
Base is undecorated white and marked in green with the Doulton Lion & Crown logo, the letter A, and the hand-numbered D6227. There is also an illegible impressed marking.

Condition is excellent - no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. There are a few minor surface scratches consistent with age and use.
