This is the first production of Royal Doulton's The Orange Lady featuring a pale pink skirt with white polka dots. The later version has a citrus green skirt. Wonderful detail in the face and shawl. Inspired by the traditional street cry "Here's oranges nice, at a very small price, I sell them all 2 for a penny ..."
