This 20 page booklet was prepared in late 1939 for Robert McCourt who was travelling from New Jersey to Miami Beach - likely wintering in Florida before returning north in the spring. Pages include detailed maps with highlighted routes, suggested tourist attraction stops, nearby hotels and overnight accommodations, and Conoco Dealers for refuelling.
This booklet also includes the original letter from Joe Thompson, Conoco Travel Bureau Director dated October 1939, the Conoco Travel Club decal for your windshield, and 8 postage labels that would redirect your mail to a local Conoco Dealer.
Book is in exceptional condition with minimal fading, minor soiling and no notable tears, ommissions, or musty odors. There is warping to the plastic binding likely from leaving the book on the dash in the hot Florida sun.
