Perfect for your vintage kitchen display, this pair of pre WWII tins have plenty of colour and eye catching graphics. Rogers' Golden Syrup was refined in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada starting in 1913. I love the lithograph of the building.
This listing is for 2 plug lid style metal tins. Early 1940s production mark (AC Co with diamond).
2lb tin measures 4 inches tall x 3.5 inches in diameter
Condition is good with plenty of surface rust on the lid and a blob of syrup cemented in the bottom. Tin is solid with very nice graphics and colour and minimal surface scratching / wear. No large dents. Lid fits tight.
5lb tin measures 5.5 inches tall x 5 inches in diameter
Condition is good - surface rust on the bottom exterior but overall fairly clean. Tin is solid with nice graphics and colour. Surface scratches, staining and wear consistant with age. No large dents. Possible replacement lid (gold colour??) but fits well.
