Purrfect for the cat lover. This large size Beswick Persian is sure to delight. Taupe and cream fur with golden yellow eyes and black stripes. I love the whisker mark detail around the nose. Condition is excellent - no chips, cracks, repairs, or age related crazing in the glaze. Marked on base with impressed Beswick England and 1867 and the black circle Beswick stamp. I cannot find a reference to a "brown" version of this figurine. The closest description would be the grey striped which was produced from 1963 to 1973.
